Someone once told me that we need to 'ignore emotion' to get to the crux of an issue.

I disagree.

How we feel about things will ultimately drive what we do about them.

As a film-maker, whether it be for a 30 second Instagram video, a montage for a company website, an important message for a campaign, a longer-form exploratory documentary - whatever I am making, I want the audience to feel something.

Because when you make people feel something,

they generally act on it.
